Membership Types

IPA Membership Types

The membership of IPA can be availed in the following categories:

Patron

Any person who makes a lump sum donation of Rs. 2,36,000/- (including GST)* or more, may be conferred with the title of a patron by the CEC.
A Apatron shall enjoy all the privileges of a member during his / her lifetime.
Membership Validity: Lifetime.
Membership Fees: Rs. 2,36,000 (including GST)*

Life Membership

Any person, other than Patron and Honorary Member, having one or more of the following qualifications and having attained age of 21 years shall be eligible to be a Life Member of the Association. The CEC has the discretion to reject any application without ascribing any reasons.

  • Aperson having a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences granted by a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • A person possessing a diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India having a minimum of five years experience in Pharmaceutical Profession.
  • A person who has a Bachelor's or higher degree in Basic and / or applied Sciences conferred by a recognized University in India or abroad and having a minimum of one year experience in the Pharmaceutical Profession, be it teaching, research, regulatory, analysis and/or industry.

Membership Validity :The term of membership extends upto 20 years from the date of joining.
Membership Fees : Rs. 7198 (including GST)*

Ordinary Membership

Any person, other than Patron and Honorary Member, having one or more of the following qualifications and having attained age of 21 years shall be eligible to be an Ordinary Member of the Association. The CEC has the discretion to reject any application without ascribing any reasons.

  • Aperson having a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences granted by a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • A person possessing a diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India having a minimum of five years experience in Pharmaceutical Profession.
  • A person who has a Bachelor's or higher degree in Basic and / or applied Sciences conferred by a recognized University in India or abroad and having a minimum of one year experience in the Pharmaceutical Profession, be it teaching, research, regulatory, analysis and/or industry.

Membership Validity :The period of membership is valid only upto the next 31st of March.
Membership Fees : Rs. 1,180 (including GST)*

Academic Membership

Institution Membership for Academic.

  • Certificate of member.
  • 1 year pharma time subscription.
  • Information of all IPA Events.


Membership Fees : Rs. 25,000 (including GST)*

Industry Membership

Institution Membership for Industry.

  • Certificate of member.
  • 1 Page write up of company Advertisement
  • 1 year pharma time subscription.
  • Information of all IPA Events.


Membership Fees : Rs. 1,00,000 (including GST)*

Foreign Life Membership (US, EU, Japan, Australia)

A person staying abroad and satisfying the qualifications of Membership as given below can become an Ordinary Member of the Association. The Foreign Member need not pay admission fees. A Foreign Member shall enjoy all the privileges and shall be bound by the Rules and Regulations, Bye-laws of the Association in respect of an Ordinary Member.

  • Aperson having a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences granted by a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • A person possessing a diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India having a minimum of five years experience in Pharmaceutical Profession.
  • A person who has a Bachelor's or higher degree in Basic and / or applied Sciences conferred by a recognized University in India or abroad and having a minimum of one year experience in the Pharmaceutical Profession, be it teaching, research, regulatory, analysis and/or industry.

Student Membership

Any person, other than Patron and Honorary Member, having one or more of the following qualifications and having attained age of 21 years shall be eligible to be an Student Member of the Association. The CEC has the discretion to reject any application without ascribing any reasons.

  • Aperson having a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences granted by a recognized University in India or abroad.
  • A person possessing a diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India having a minimum of five years experience in Pharmaceutical Profession.
  • A person who has a Bachelor's or higher degree in Basic and / or applied Sciences conferred by a recognized University in India or abroad and having a minimum of one year experience in the Pharmaceutical Profession, be it teaching, research, regulatory, analysis and/or industry.

Student Life Membership


Membership Fees :

  • 1st year Rs. 1500 (including GST)*
  • 2nd year if joining 2nd year Rs. 3000 (including GST)* ( if already member in 1st year then only 1500 - renewal of membership)
  • 3rd year Rs. 4500 (including GST)*
  • 4th year Rs. 6000 (including GST)* in this manner he joins renews every year then after 4th year by paying balance of Rs. 1198 he can become life member
