He served in various Administrative and Academic positions for more than 35 years at Jamia Hamdard in the capacities of DEAN and HOD of Faculty of Pharmacy, Dean Students Welfare, Placement officer and Proctor of Jamia Hamdard.

Prof. (Dr) Farhan Jalees Ahmad

Farhan Jalees Ahmad, PhD, is currently a Professor, School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India is an internationally known researcher in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Having obtained his degree in M.Pharma and Ph.D (Pharmaceutics) from Jamia Hamdard, he continues to teach and leads a very productive research group which has been funded extensively by National and international funding agencies.

Dr. Naresh Sharma

Deputy Drugs Controller Dr. Naresh Sharma has obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy from Delhi University, master’s degree in pharmacy from Birla Institute of Technology, India and Doctorate in Pharmacy from Government College, Kumaon University, India. He has an experience of more than 25 years in pharmaceutical research, manufacturing, and regulations.

Mr. Kalhan Bazaz

Kalhan Bazaz is the Editor and Publisher of The Indian Pharmacist – a bimonthly publication of the pharmaceutical industry, trade and profession for the past 18 years.

He completed his Bachelor of Pharmacy from College of Pharmacy, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College from Belgaum, Karnataka in 1993.

Dr. Saurabh Arora

Dr. Saurabh Arora head the contract testing and research business at Arbro and Auriga, since 2005. In this capacity, He have designed and set up 6 state- of-the-art testing laboratories in New Delhi, Manesar, Baddi and Bangalore. He is currently leading a team of over 400 scientists and professionals who work in these laboratories which serve clients in the food, retail, hospitality, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, agri, medical device, research, academics and infrastructure industries.

Dr. Gaurav Kumar Jain

Dr. Gaurav Kumar Jain is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Delhi Pharmaceutical Science and Research University, New Delhi. Dr. Jain has done his PhD in Pharmaceutics and has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience.

Dr. Neeraj Kumar has rich experience of more than fifteen years in field of Clinical Research in various capacities. Presently he is working as Research Manager, Department of Clinical Research at Pharmazz India Pvt. Ltd. Delhi; as Hon. Secretary –The Indian Pharmaceutical Association – Delhi State Branch (IPA-DSB), Joint Secretary- Association of Regulatory Affairs and Professional (ARAP), Executive Member of Human Ethics Committee Association (HECA) and as Member Secretary -Good Society for Ethical Research – An Independent Ethics Committee registered with CDSCO.

Dr. Mymoona Akhter

Dr. Mymoona Akhter holds Ph.D. Pharmaceutical Sciences, M. Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Jamia Hamdard (Hamdard University) New Delhi. Akhter is working as an Assistant professor of Medicinal Chemistry in Faculty of Pharmacy and is Deputy Co-ordinator of the Bioinformatics Facility Jamia Hamdard.

Sameer K. Ahuja is Graduate in Pharmacy & Post graduate in Management, a Pharmaceutical professional with 9+ years diverse experience in Regulatory, Marketing Services (Product Management), Sales in Pharmaceuticals Industry.

Mr Amrish Tiwari

Amrish is a Patent Attorney and practice lead for the pharma and chemistry patent practice of the firm. He specializes in handling contentious matters, prosecution and dispute resolution in the areas of Patent and Biological diversity laws. He is involved in the drafting and prosecution of patents in the areas of pharmaceuticals, bio-pharmaceuticals, medical diagnostics, therapeutics, nanotechnology, organic chemistry, polymers, biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology and biotechnology

Dr. Bhawna Gupta

Bhawna is a dynamic and astute leader with approx. 20 years of rich experience in regulatory affairs and compliance. Has extensive background in quality systems and ICH requirements.

Dr. Javed Ali

Executive Member

Prof. Javed Ali passed his B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. with distinction from Jamia Hamdard and bagged gold medals in 1994 and 1996 respectively. He earned a Ph. D. in the year 2000. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, University of Frankfurt, Germany in 2005.

Dr. P. K Sahu

Prof. P. K. Sahoo is a renowned academician and research scientist who is currently serving as a Director at DIPSAR. He has been associated with DIPSAR since 2004 ,when he joined there as a reader. He had previously been posted at AICTE where he held various academic key positions and served as its director in 1998-2004 and again in 2010-2013

Since then worked in Academia, Production, Process Development and presently working in the field of Formulation Development since last 20 Years.

Mr SL Nasa

Dr.SL Nasa completed his Diploma in Pharmacy from Punjab University, Amritsar in the year 1956. He earned his B. Pharm and M. Pharm from College of Pharmacy, (DIPSAR) University of Delhi. Shri Nasa has been actively engaged in development and Regulation of Pharmacy Education in India, has 31 years teaching Experience in various levels at College of Pharmacy, Delhi (DIPSAR) from 1964 to 1995. He has been an external examiner at several universities and technical education boards. .

Dr. Saima Amin

Dr. Saima Amin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. She completed her Ph.D on Transdermal Drug Delivery from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. Dr. Amin has more than fifteen years of teaching experience to undergraduates, post graduates and doctoral students.

Dr. Saurabh Dahiya is presently working as Associate Professor Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, New Delhi, India. He gained postdoctoral research experience at School of Medicine University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA and Ph.D from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. He got Industrial Research Training at Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
